10 Questions to Achieve Goals | Make your goals personal. If they are not “down to your core” personal then you will more than likely not achieve them as fast as you would like.

Think of your goal as if you are a two-year-old looking at a piece of cake. You can see the cake and you know where you are at in relationship to that cake…now go for it!

Start with the BIG 6:
Why do I need to achieve this goal?
Who is in your way?
What is in your way?
When do you need the goal to be achieved?
Where will you be when you achieve your goal?
How will you achieve this goal?

Then ask yourself another 4 questions:
What else am I missing to achieve this goal?
Who can help me achieve this goal?
When do I need to start to achieve this goal?
How else can I achieve this goal faster?

Don’t Wait: Seize the Moment and Embrace Your Journey

It’s Coach Kathy Micheel here, and I just want to start by saying how absolutely thrilled I am to be sharing this space with you. Life has a funny way of throwing curveballs at us, doesn’t it? One moment we’re cruising along, feeling on top of the world, and the next, we’re faced with challenges that make us question our path. But here’s the thing, my friends: if we wait for the “perfect” time to make changes or pursue our dreams, we might just be waiting forever.

So, what is the “Don’t Wait” mentality? Well, it’s all about seizing the moment and embracing the journey, no matter what life throws your way. It’s about recognizing that there will never be a perfect time to chase our dreams, and that the best time to start is right now. Our lives are a beautiful tapestry of experiences, and every single moment – whether positive or negative – contributes to your unique and vibrant story.

Now, I’m not saying it’s always easy to adopt the “Don’t Wait” mentality. We’re all human, and it’s natural to feel overwhelmed or uncertain at times. But that’s where personal development coaching comes into play. As a coach, my goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate both the highs and lows of life, helping you reframe negative interactions and experiences into opportunities for growth and self-discovery.

These are in no particular order; here are the BIG 4 … eat, sleep, drink, and move. Now, imagine that you know what you want like a two-year-old does. What would your next 6 actions be?

Really!?! Yes, imagine that you are the excited and hopeful two-year-old. Where are you at now and where do you want to be?

As your coach and mentor, I give you permission to cry, stomp your feet, and scream that you are not where you thought you would be.

Now, with that same energy … grab a pen and paper, crayons, tape, scissors and anything else that will help you to explain your feelings of what you want, how you will get that, along with the where this will happen when this action will take place, and why you want this to happen. Yes, you have a WHY…so include that too!
